Designed by Manchester architect Ian Simpson the Urbis museum of Urban life is one of Manchester's most striking buildings.

The aerial view is taken from the East looking west. The road behind Urbis is Corporation St. The buildings running off the bottom of the photo are the Cheetham school of Music and the Edwardian building on the right is the old Corn Exchange now known as " The Triangle"
