Parts of Manchester Cathedral go back to 1215 although much of what we see today is Victorian. The building has seen some interesting history being damaged in both the English civil war and also by world war 2 bombing. This view was taken on a hot summers day in August 2005 and you can see from the clock it was ten past two in the afternoon. You can see much more detail on the full high resolution file which is several times bigger.
